ABOUT INTERNATIONAL CASE COMPETITIONS

One of the most unique opportunities that KTH REC can offer the selected members that win the national competition is a chance to compete on an international level against the world's leading universities in the field of real estate. On the international stage the case format might differ a bit, depending on which university that is hosting the competition. But in general the case format is comparable to the once presented in the national competition.

REFLECTING ON THE 2024 CASE COMPETITION SEASON

The 2024 case competition season marked yet another milestone in KTH REC’s journey of excellence. This year, two of our winning teams proudly represented KTH on the international stage, showcasing their skills, determination, and innovative thinking.

In New York, our teams competed at the prestigious Cornell University Real Estate Case Competition, achieving an impressive 4th place finish. This result highlights KTH's continued presence among the world’s top institutions in the field of real estate.

For the first time, KTH also participated in the CUREFIS Case Competition in the UK. Competing against leading universities from across the globe, our team delivered a stellar performance, securing a top-3 placement and further solidifying our reputation as strong contenders in the international arena.

The 2024 season underscored the power of preparation, collaboration, and resilience, leaving a lasting mark on KTH REC’s legacy. These achievements not only inspire future participants but also strengthen our position as a leader in fostering real estate talent.

CORNELL INTERNATIONAL CASE COMPETITION

KTH Real Estate Club had once more the opportunity to participate in this competition. We believe that this competition is on of the best in it's class and will therefore keep on prioritising our relationship with Cornell University.

The winning team in the REC case competition will therefore get the unique opportunity to travel and represent the organization in the Annual case competition hosted by Cornell University.

Presenting the material in front of leading industry members is both an incredible and challenging experience in terms of presenting skills, dealing with pressure and keeping the composure. Furthermore, the students also receive invaluable feedback from world leading industry professionals in real estate.

The Center of Real Estate and Finance at Cornell is one of the largest and leading faculties in it’s field. With one of the widest and deepest experiences and connections in the industry this is an extraordinary opportunity for the contestants to share knowledge but also create a global network with young professionals and industry leaders.
